Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya iPhone baru akan segera tersedia, iPhone baru tersebut bernama iPhone 3G S. Harga iPhone 3G S $199 untuk kapasitas 16GB dan $299 untuk kapasitas 32GB dan tersedia di US (Amerika Serikat) mulai 19 Juni 2009. iPhone 3G S mendukung HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, fitur lain yang menyertai iPhone 3G S antara lain:

* Cut, copy, paste.
* Tampilan grafis dan daya tahan baterai yang lebih baik.
* Kamera 3 Megapixel, autofocus.
* MMS, Video recording
* Voice Control.
* Kompas digital dan peta.
* Landscape keyboard.
* Spotlight search.
