Penjualan iPhone 3G S menembus angka 1 juta unit dalam tiga hari

Apple kembali mendulang sukses dengan peluncuran iPhone terbaru, iPhone 3G S. Dalam waktu tiga hari sejak penjual pertama, iPhone 3G S terjual lebih dari satu juta unit. Generasi sebelumnya iPhone 3G juga mengalami rekor penjualan yang sama yaitu terjual lebih dari satu juta unit dalam waktu tiga hari. Hal ini jauh lebih sukses dibanding dengan iPhone generasi pertama, saat itu iPhone memakan waktu 74 hari untuk mencapai penjualan satu juta unit.
Sementara itu software terbaru iPhone 3.0 telah didownload sebanyak enam juta kali dalam waktu lima hari sejak direlease. iPhone 3G S memiliki fitur yang lebih baik dan lebih cepat dibanding dengan generasi sebelumnya, iPhone 3G. Selain itu juga kapasitas penyimpanan iPhone 3G S dua kali lebih besar dibanding iPhone 3G.
